5 things we all loved doing as a kid

Children are like precious gems. 14th November is celebrated as children’s day in all over India. 14th November is also the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of independent India. His love and passion towards children is the reason why we celebrate Children’s Day on his birthday.

On the occasion of children’s day, here is list of 5 such things that will remind us of our fun filled days of childhood.

  1. Becoming the class monitor

There is no happiness more than becoming the class monitor. You become the star for that one year and who doesn’t love that attention?

  1. Attending birthday parties

During those times, just knowing that it’s your friends birthday would automatically bring a smile on your face. Who can forget the staple Indian birthday snacks which included a piece of the cake, tasty samosa, some salty wafers and a couple of eclairs?

  1. Getting stars in your tests

Children with good handwriting, right answers, completing book on time would all have the famous three stars of teachers. If you don’t remember those stars, look at the image. Every time you received your test paper after correction, these stars were the first thing you looked for.

  1. Celebrating festivals with your family

Festivals had a completely different meaning and importance when we were kids. Right from going shopping with your family a few days before the festival to spending your day with your family eating sweets and having fun with a smile on your face.

  1. Watching our favorite cartoons

Cartoons were an inseparable part of every child. No one will be allowed to watch anything on TV during their favorite shows. All time favorite ones were Tom and Jerry, Scooby dooby doo, Powerpuff girls, Pokemon, Popeye the sailor man, Johnny Bravo, the list would be just endless.
